You will be given hands-on and practical training in horticulture, allowing you to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified gardener. As an apprentice you'll be working under the guidance of experienced gardeners, and will study for a highly regarded R.H.S. qualification in horticulture. Much of your work will be done outdoors and in all weathers, so you'll be someone who is comfortable working in this environment. You'll also be expected to operate and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment. The study of garden and landscape design will also feature in your learning. Your working week will be Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:30pm with one of those days devoted to study. We are looking for a highly motivated individual keen to pursue a career in horticulture.
